Handa Training Solutions provides a contracting service for the management of confined space entry. We can provide standby person’s, risk assessors and entrants to conduct entry tasks or support your personnel when they need to enter confined spaces. We arrive equipped with entry procedures, risk assessment documents, entry permits and emergency procedures.
Our response vehicle is equipped with an Arachnipod (tripod) capable of providing safe horizontal entry to tunnels and chambers as well as traditional vertical entry to pits, wells, tanks and the like. It can also straddle trenches and raised pits and can span across three metres. The Arachnipod is ideal for rescue from confined spaces and is rated to lift approximately twice the weight of other tripods. We also carry rescue gear, oxygen resuscitation equipment, breathing apparatus, gas detectors, intrinsically-safe torches and radios and a range of gear to suit most applications.
